Dr. Josie Carr is an author, educator, entrepreneur, and inspirational speaker. She is the CEO of DESTINY Educational Consulting Group and Founder of Success You-niversity, 7M Stilettos Foundation, Believers United for Successful Schools and The Prayer Connection.
She has authored several books: The Impact of Inclusion on Academic Achievement, Inspire for Teachers, iGod – Prayers and Promises for Students, The Believers Passport to a Fulfilled Life, Rise to Your Destiny: A Divine Mandate, The Healing Chronicle, and Running After God: The Ultimate Pursuit.
Dr. Carr was formally educated at University of Houston and Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas where she received a B. S. in Physical Education, M. Ed. In Special Education, M. Ed. In Mid-Management, and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration. She has served as a teacher, counselor, principal, Executive Director of Education and presently, Educational Consultant nationally and internationally (Africa and Haiti). Additionally, she is a graduate of Light Christian College of Ministry and Ministry Development Institute in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Carr is a committed member of Relentless Church pastored by Dr. Ramson and Pastor Estrella Mumba.
She is the wife of Dr. Stanley Carr and the proud mother of Jarvis and Jakia Carr.

You-Turn Institute is a place where individuals are equipped to make choices that will initiate the development and maintenance of the necessary skills to recognize and manage anger, low self-esteem issues, stress, and other emotional deficits. Our weekly Prayer Connection prayerline is hosted every Wednesday morning from 5:00AM-6:00AM. This is a time of intense worship and strategic praying. Several prayer leaders join us from across the nation.
